Menus Online and Shopping Lists for Hot Summer Days

The Grill Daddy BBQ Grill Cleaning Tool As Seen On TVThis week has been so hot that I decided to do menus online that don’t use the oven at all.  Things can be prepared ahead of time when it’s cool and stored in the fridge.  No sweating and wasting energy using the oven and the air conditioner at the same time.  Keep the heat outside on the grill. Check out this cool grill brush I found. It cleans the grill with steam and these cool brushes. That’s the worst part of barbecuing for me.

To grill pineapple, remove skins, stand pineapple on its end and slice downward to separate the fruit from the core.  These long slices can then be grilled until heated through.  Or, you could use one of those really nifty pineapple slicers.  They don’t work on the really big pineapple because the handle isn’t long enough to go all the way down, but for the medium pineapples, they’re kind of fun.  If you haven’t seen them, check one out here.   Vacu Vin Pineapple Slicer

By the way, I’m swamped with business and need help.  If you know anyone who needs work, part time, full time or whatever, send them my way.  They can make a bunch of people happy, including me.  Have anyone who’s interested call 208-366-7126 and ask for Amy.

We did some grilling on Saturday and what a pleasure it was to have a cool house when we sat down for our family dinner and less dishes too. Thanks for all you do and the inspiration of wonderful meals.

    • admin says:

I know. The best part is my husband likes to do the grilling, so I’m off the hook for dinner when we grill, usually.
